A Collosal Waste of Resources
After every flood or drought that affects a particular region in India, it has become the customary practice for politicians to do an arial surveillance of the affected areas. I very much doubt the efficacy of this process and really doubt the purpose it serves. In these days of sky-high oil prices, I feel its much better to get first hand detailed reports of the affected places which would help the person in power to decide on the impact of the disaster...
